2nd Weekend:
1. Folk Festival at the Heritage Village off Loop 337 in New Braunfels - Step back in time and enjoy live demonstrations of how our ancestors lived in the 1800s. Enjoy authentic German cuisine, and shop in the flea market area. (April 18 & 19, 2009)

2. Free music & dancing in Landa Park. Music will begin at 2 PM on Sunday, bring your appetite. All proceeds from food and beverage go to the Parks & Recreation Department. The event is sponsored by our local radio station KNBT 92.1 FM.

WINE & WILDFLOWER TRAIL
Dry Comal Creek Vineyards and Winery is hosting a Wine & Cheese Bonanza during the Wine & Wildflower Trail that features 4 Wisconsin Cheeses and 4 of the Vineyard's wines. Tour and tasting starts at 11:30 AM and reservations are required. Call Sabrina at 830-885-4076 to reserve your place. $25 p/person

Crossroads Americana Concert

Sunday April 19th will be a day of fun and music at the Landa Park Dance Slab, as 92.1FM KNBT New Braunfels hosts its annual fundraiser for the New Braunfels Parks Foundation. Multiple regional bands will perform at this wildy popular special FREE concert! There will be music and refreshments for all ages. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a day in the park. Additional parking is available at the Fredericksburg Little League Fields.

"Lasting Impression" Art Show

"Lasting Impression" art show, sponsored by the Canyon Lake Art Guild, takes place at the New Braunfels Art League Gallery, 239 W. San Antonio St. April 4 - 29. Open daily 10 - 5, Sunday noon - 5.

The gallery is located 1 1/2 blocks west of Main Plaza on the left.

Take Your Doggie For A Dip Day!

Time 12:00 PM TO 4:00 PM

Dogs and owners will be able to enjoy the Spring-Fed Pool at this popular event! There will be a costume contest and a best tirck contes, so start practicing! All dogs must have current Rabies vaccinations and provide proof the day of the event. Pre-register by phone at 830-221-4350 ($5 for 1 dog and 1 owner). Brought to you by Parks & Recreation.
