If you are going to be floating/rafting the river let us know Rockin 'R' River Rides will come pick you up take you to the river, and when your done drop you off right at Oma Gruene's. In Oma Gruene's back yard it is just steps away from your cottage, we now have live music EVERY WEEKEND. You will have the opportunity to kick back in Oma's Secret Garten, the best secret Biergarten in all of Gruene, where you can listen to music, grab a beer or chow down on a German brautwurst or a Ruben sandwich, you will think you have died and gone to Gruene.

You can also dance in Gruene Hall, float the Guadalupe River, shop downtown Gruene (serious antiques, clothes, handmade furniture and pottery, Texas gifts, home furnishings: the selection is enormous), dine in five different restaurants, and just soak up the soul of Texas without moving your car…and did we mention the incredible climate of the Hill Country?!?
